The OT will have the opportunity to work alongside PTs, SLPs and other OTs and will have the opportunity to work to learn and grow in this full time, long term position. This SNF is looking for someone who can work independently and confidently and is a great team player. Must be able to supervise COTAs and work Monday through Friday.Job Responsibilities:As an Occupational Therapist, he or she is responsible for:Meeting the patient's goals and needs by providing quality care through assessing and interpreting evaluationsDetermining occupational therapy treatment plans in consultations with physicians or by prescriptionHelping patient develop or regain physical or mental functioningPromoting maximum independence by selecting and constructing therapies according to individual's capacityEvaluating results of occupational therapy by observing, noting and evaluating patient's progress and recommending and implementing adjustments and modificationsCompleting discharge planning by consulting with other healthcare workersMaintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulationsContributing to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
